RE: BC residents' attitudes toward privatization of crown corporations
From: Mustel Group Market Research
Date: June 21, 2002

About half (52%) of BC residents agree that the Liquor distribution branch should be privatized. However, residents are slightly less inclined to agree to have ICBC privatized (43% agreeing and 49% disagreeing). Residents are more inclined to disagree than agree that BC Ferries, BC Lotteries and BC Hydro should be privatized.

Compared to last year's results on this issue the level of those agreeing to see ICBC privatized has dropped by eight percentage points while the Liquor Distribution Branch has increased by seven.
