The BC Omnibus

Our BC Omnibus is an quick and cost-effective way to get reliable answers to simple questions you may have on your market, such as; who uses it; how often do they buy?; where do they buy from?; have they seen our advertising?; what proportion of our target market are aware of us? How does it work? Simply that we run the Omnibus and clients can buy questions on it. The cost is shared across a range of clients, meaning the research information is very reliable (with a solid sample size), very much cheaper than a purpose built research study, and quicker as well.

Six times a year (or more frequently if our clients want it), we conduct province-wide and Greater Vancouver omnibus surveys.

Each Omnibus survey has at least 500 interviews with adult residents from across British Columbia. We also offer a Greater Vancouver Omnibus, also consisting of 500 interviews. . Our Omnibus samples are drawn at random from a database of continuously updated telephone listings that include the most recently published exchanges and the newest listings.

Each Omnibus sample is strictly controlled to make sure that it accurately reflects the structure of the population in the region, which means you can interpret the results with confidence that they are truly representative of the population at large.

Typically, we have a three-week turnaround on our Omni from deadline for question submission to receipt of data tables. When required, we will do everything possible to accommodate requests for a shorter timeframe.

Prices per question are as follows:

  • Item Bank: $225
  • Closed End: $450
  • Open End: $775

Included in this cost is assistance with question development, fielding, data processing and data table production. Quotations for data interpretation and report writing are available. For more information on our next Omnibus or assistance with question formulation, email Phil Giborski, or call 604-742-2244, toll-free 866-742-2244.
